Council will discuss a ban on pit bulls on November 24 at 7:00 PM.

If you wish to speak at the meeting, you must contact City Hall by 11/19/08 and make a request.

Council meetings are the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 7:00 PM at the Herculaneum City Hall. If you wish to address the council, you will need to call City Hall and request to be heard (Wednesday before the following Monday council meeting). Individuals will be allotted five minutes; groups are allotted ten minutes.

Pit Bull Ordinance

The Herculaneum Board of Aldermen is working on an ordinance that would ban the ownership of pit bulls in the city limits. Officials say they’ve had a couple of incidents where pit bulls have attacked people and one where a pit bull charged a police officer. The issue will be addressed at next weeks meeting.
