Crossposted from BSL Workshop/Updates:
The Dandridge city council is set to take a final vote on a ordinance that would ban pit bulls this Tuesday, October 13, 2009.
In light of this, a “pre-meeting” has been planned by concerned residents to discuss opposition and alternatives to a breed specific ordinance in Dandridge. Please join us on Sunday, October 11 at 6:00 p.m. (EST) at the Shoneys Restaurant in Dandridge. Anyone interested in fighting BSL is invited to this meeting.
We are also hoping to encourage a strong turn out at the city council meeting on the 13th.
