This is sick. Its racism. We dont ask black people to prove they arent in gangs and wont rob a store? We dont ask white people to prove they are inbred hillbillies and going to burn some crosses? COME ON! This is sick and inhumane. It does against every right. People wont get these breeds as pets and more of them will be killed…so the law wins. My American Bulldog is afraid of jack russels. He is the sweetest dog in the world and at 90lbs he thinks he is a lap dog! The only thing he will do is kiss you to death!
This is breed discrimination, and does NOT work. We owned a beagle, suppose to be a happy breed and not aggressive, however, ours was and tried to attack my 6 month old son. We had to have her euthanised :( My pitbull(3 years old) and my shepherd/husky mix (8 years old) have NEVER tried biting anyone!!!! Just goes to show ANY breed of dog CAN attack and cause damage, especially to children!!!!!! Instead of banning breeds why not ban stupid people that cannot control their dogs, whether a pitbull or a poodle!!!!!!!!! Until our justice systems start to get a clue and actually do some research (not just over exaggerated media reports that are usually INCORRECT) and start putting the blame where it belongs,,,,,,,on the owners of dogs and on PARENTS of children who DO NOT supervise their children around DOGS (any breed)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unfortunately these stupid laws cost the taxpayers ALOT of money as does the euthanizing of dogs that SHOULD NOT be destroyed!! I don’t feel any sympathy though towards those tax payers that fight along with the justice system to have these laws put in effect!!!!!! These are the uneducated idiots that stare and glare at my dogs as we walk by, or the ones that make extremely mean comments about our dogs in front of my young children who do not understand why!!!!!!! Pretty sad when I have to explain to my 5 year old son that the women who was making these nasty comments is just plain ignorant and stupid, and does not have a clue what she is talking about!!!! I’ve changed MANY people’s mind about pitbulls after getting mine, and I’ve done a ton of research on this breed and their history as well as lots of research on BSL and I have NEVER read a report that showed that it works!!!!! Many though that shows it does NOT work!!!!! My dogs are both neutered and my Pitbull is microchipped as well, and they are NEVER off leash,,,,i’m a responsible dog owner and hopefully many others will follow in my footsteps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
