  1. I think it’s wrong to ASSUME that APBT are dangerous and aggressive. Don’t get me wrong I think bad owner’s should be put down not the dog. I think there should be a stiffer punishment for the owners who don’t train there dogs to fight. I own 4 APBT and they are absolutely not aggressive towards people or other dogs. But I am a responsible dog owner. I just think it’s wrong that everyone wants to jump on this band wagon that APBT’s are horrible vicious dogs. When in actuality there not. And to break everyone’s heart out there guess what any dog will bite if it has teeth there’s a chance it can bite someone. So that goes for any breed why should we single out pitbulls. Truth is we shouldn’t, dog’s have bitten people for centuries can we blame every dog attack or bite on APBT’s? No!!!! But there are a lot of people out there who would love to blame it all on them. They aren’t responsible for every dog attack. There just the only one’s that make the news. You never hear about the Golden, or Lab or Chihuahua that attacks a kid. ONLY IF IT’S AN APBT , ROTTIE OR DOBIES.Only because it makes for a great NEWS STORY!!! And to me that sounds like we are going back 100 years and having racism again. It was wrong then it’s wrong now to pick on a poor animal because of it’s breed regardless the fact that it scores higher on the temperament test than labs and other family dogs people think are so great. Do research please before you speak out of turn on a dog you haven’t taken the chance to actually get to know. Profiling is wrong and I was under the conclusion that this was 2010 not the 1950s!!!
